1. Business software and authorized use
Roofing Genie is offered for authorized business users. You must use the service only for lawful roofing operations, only for organizations and properties you are authorized to serve, and only within the workflow lanes enabled by your customer agreement. You are responsible for account activity, accurate registration information, credential protection, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
2. Human review and professional responsibility
Roofing Genie provides administrative, evidence-organization, source-cited claim-readiness, measurement-review, and estimate-QA tools. It is not an insurer, law firm, public adjuster, engineer, or autonomous claim representative. The service does not decide coverage, negotiate a claim, act for a homeowner, or promise approval, payment, or any other result.
AI output is a draft for human review. Qualified people must confirm property identity, measurements, site conditions, evidence, policy information, scope, pricing, citations, and every exported package. Missing information remains missing and must not be replaced with invented facts.
3. Customer content and permissions
You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant Roofing Genie the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and return that content to provide the service. You represent that you have the permissions needed to supply customer, homeowner, property, claim, image, video, document, and integration data. Do not upload medical information, account passwords, unnecessary government identifiers, or content you are not authorized to handle.
4. Google Maps Platform
Some enabled features use Google Maps Platform, including Solar API Building Insights and address-resolution services. Your use of those features is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Google-derived content may be displayed, cached, retained, and included in fixed media only as permitted by applicable Google terms and the customer agreement.
Google Solar data can be incomplete, unavailable, or older than current site conditions. It is not a substitute for contractor verification, a site inspection, engineering judgment, coverage analysis, or a solar performance guarantee.
5. Restrictions
You may not bypass tenant boundaries or access controls; probe another customer's data; introduce malware; scrape, resell, or create a competing dataset from the service; reverse engineer except where law expressly permits; use the service to make deceptive, discriminatory, unlawful, or unqualified professional claims; or remove source, integrity, or attribution notices.
6. Trials, subscriptions, usage, and cancellation
A new organization may receive one card-required 14-day trial if it and its Stripe customer have not used a trial before. The trial is limited to one staff user and three activated job files, has no overages, and automatically converts to the selected paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. A failed conversion may move the workspace to read-only access without deleting its records.
Solo, Team, and Enterprise prices, included staff, included monthly job files, and overage rates are shown on the pricing page at Checkout. A job file is counted once when its canonical workspace first becomes active. Revisions, supplements, messages, reopening, and document deliveries do not count as another file. Archiving or deletion does not refund usage. Homeowners, guests, and read-only external reviewers do not consume staff seats.
Monthly cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Annual base fees are paid upfront and cancellation takes effect at renewal; annual fees are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. Upgrades are immediate and prorated. Downgrades take effect at renewal. File and additional-staff overages are billed monthly. Taxes are additional where applicable.
You authorize Stripe and approved billing providers to store the payment method and collect subscription, usage, and applicable tax amounts. Roofing Genie does not store card or bank credentials locally. Stripe's configured retry process and a limited payment-recovery period may apply before the service becomes read-only.
7. Availability, changes, and suspension
Features may be changed, limited, or suspended to protect customers, comply with law or provider terms, address security or reliability risks, or retire an integration. Provider availability, imagery coverage, AI services, and third-party systems are not guaranteed. We may suspend access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, nonpayment under an applicable customer agreement, or a required provider restriction.
8. Disclaimers and limits
Except for commitments expressly stated in a signed customer agreement, the website and service are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Roofing Genie does not warrant claim outcomes, coverage, measurements, source availability, solar production, savings, or uninterrupted operation. Any warranty, liability cap, indemnity, governing-law, dispute, renewal, and termination terms in a signed customer agreement control for that customer.
9. Updates and contact
We may update these terms and will post the revised date. Material changes may receive additional notice where required. Questions or legal notices should use the contact method stated in the applicable order form or customer workspace.
