What counts as a new job file?
A job file counts once when a canonical insurance, direct-pay, or solar-ready workspace first moves from draft to active. Revisions, supplements, messages, deliveries, reopening, retries, archiving, and deletion do not create another charge or refund prior usage.
Who counts as a staff user?
A staff user is an employee with authenticated workspace access. Every employee needs a unique login. Homeowners, guest recipients, and read-only external reviewers do not consume staff seats.
What happens when we reach our allowance?
Solo keeps existing work available but blocks another file until the account upgrades to Team. Team and Enterprise continue working at the stated per-file overage. Roofing Genie shows usage alerts at 70%, 90%, and 100% and displays projected overage before invoicing.
How does the 14-day trial work?
Choose your intended plan and add a card in secure Checkout. The trial includes one staff user and three new job files. There are no trial overages; the fourth file is blocked until the subscription starts. Your paid allowance begins fresh after the first successful invoice.
Can we change or cancel our plan?
Monthly plans can be cancelled for the end of the paid period. Annual cancellation takes effect at renewal and annual charges are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. Upgrades are immediate and prorated; downgrades take effect at renewal.
Does Roofing Genie make claim decisions?
No. Roofing Genie organizes supplied facts, runs approved source-cited checks, and prepares drafts for human review. It does not decide coverage, represent a homeowner, negotiate a claim, or promise approval or payment. Verify every finding against the issued policy.
